Hi everyone. Now that I've decided not to do Top 10 Rankings after just doing them 3 weeks. I really don't know if it's possible to rank wrestlers anymore. Due to the amount of no contests and DQs, it's almost impossible to go by wins. Plus, today you've got to take in to consideration mic work, storylines, etc. and that is way too complicated for me to attempt (at least for now). Maybe I have been watching too much wrestling, everytime I go to write "now", I always type "nwo". So will I be ordering the 12 hour edition of Wrestlemania? I think I'll just stick to the 3 hour actual show. Somehow by hour 8 I think I'd be a bit tired of watching (especially if it's mostly a review of past Wrestlemanias). However, for new fans, or fans who haven't been watching since 1985 I think it would be a great opportunity to catch up on some wrestling history. Somehow for me, the first 7 Wrestlemanias just stand out the most (not to say there haven't been some great matches since), but for whatever reason I remember those the best. I guess that just shows how much wrestling has changed. I'm lucky if I can remember everything that happened last week, never mind last summer or last year. For the first 10 years or so that I watched wrestling maybe 1 (or 2 if we were lucky) big thing happened a week. You could go for a month and get caught up quickly, but not these days. This is a good thing in terms of keeping our interest and not dragging things out forever, but in other ways it takes away - such as frequent title changes.

Speaking of frequent title changes, last night's PPV was pretty good, but I don't think the crowd was really in to it. It seems PPV crowds aren't as lively as those for RAW and Smackdown. The Dallas crowd a few weeks ago for the 10 man tag on RAW really contributed to that match, and that match sticks out in mind above all others this month. It's actually probably one of my favorite moments in the history of RAW. Kurt Angle, the European Champion, AND the NEW Intercontinental Champion. How long have I been praising Angle? I've been saying he's going to go far, and look how quickly it has happened. What was up with that crowd of people celebrating with Kurt after his win? Kind of strange, but it's ok with me. I just couldn't figure out what that was all about. I know everyone really likes Chris Jericho, but I don't understand his appeal. Let me first say that he seems like a really nice person, doing a lot of charity work outside the ring and a lot for his fans - which is always a plus, but I just find his mic work boring and I don't think his matches have lived up to what I was expecting when he came to the WWF. I'm hoping he will have the opportunity to display his wrestling ability more in the future. Just remember, like I keep saying, everyone laughed at me when I predicted the Rock would be a mega superstar a few years ago, and I'm saying the same about Angle now........

The New Age Outlaws vs. the Dudleys at No Way Out, I thought that could have been a little better, but it was ok. I really had thought the Dudleys deserved the tag titles, but after they won them I wasn't so sure. It would have been nice to see the Outlaws keep the belts til Wrestlemania or something, in perhaps one of those 4 corner tag team battles against the Dudleys, the Hardy Boyz, and Edge and Christian. However, the way things are looking now for Wrestlemania I would say that The Outlaws vs. Hardy Boyz and Edge/Christian vs. the Dudleys would be pretty great.

Were those boring chants I heard during the Mark Henry/Viscera match? I know fans have a right to express their feelings, but I think if 2 wrestlers hear boring chants in the ring it probably makes them nervous, or brings them down even more if the match is going bad. Just like anything else, projecting positive energy towards a match is going to help a lot more than being negative about it. We've got to watch the match anyway, right? Well, I guess you don't have to if you don't want to. Looks like Mae is getting some cheers when she runs to the ring now, good!!! Linda McMahon says in one of the latest RAW magazines she loves watching Mae and Moolah, and maybe that's why we have to watch them, but I agree with Linda!

The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian was a great match, of course. When Terri walked down the aisle with the Hardy Boyz I was thinking, yes they really do make a great group, and then she has to go and turn on them. I don't think she's going to have that great of chemistry with a team other than the Hardy Boyz, but I could be wrong. Terri with the Acolytes?? no, Terri with the Dudleys?? no, Terri with Edge and Christian?? no....

All right, we got the point, Prince Albert and the Big Boss Man can't keep Tazz down. Were they trying to OVER CONVINCE us or what?

X-Pac defeating Kane was a bit of a surprise. Seems the heels are always winning lately. Plus I think there are too many heels anyway. I guess some of the confusion no longer exists, we now know who the heels are supposed to be, and that can change depending on who's wrestling who. Afterall, sometimes we cheer DX and sometimes we jeer DX??? Which is it??

Oh, I just read Jason Sensation is returning to the WWF? Sounds good to me! Why does everyone try to get their signs on tv during the first match? Sorry, I got distracted by reading newsboards. I shouldn't read them. Shawn Michaels says on his official website he is not interested in returning to the WWF right now, yet everyone is predicting his return?? I don't know, it seems like all the posts I read where people say such and such a thing is going to happen - never happens. So why would we believe all the other things people post that we can't verify? So why do I keep reading? :)

I cannot believe that Too Cool and Rikishi defeated the Radicals. I'm not so sure that was such a great move. Not to say Too Cool and Rikishi don't deserve it, but I think the Radicals should have won their first PPV appearance. I'd also rather see them wrestle singles matches instead of so many tag matches. Seems like we're seeing more and more tag team matches lately, is that to keep our attention by bringing out as many wrestlers as possible?

I don't remember much about the Rock/Big Show match, except for the huge pop Shane got. Big mistake I think to have Shane turn on the Rock. The fans have been waiting for months for Shane and Vince to return, and for a split second everyone had their wish, but then it ended, just like that. There really doesn't seem to be that many wrestlers that are total faces right now, and I think they should have Shane trying to take control back from DX, or will that be Vince's job? Maybe all 4 McMahons will go different ways? Hopefully we'll find out tonight on RAW!! From MSG no less!!

The Cactus Jack/Triple H match was a very good match, but I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same, but all I could do was compare the match to the Mankind/Undertaker Hell in a Cell, and I don't think it was as good as that match. Don't get me wrong, this match was pretty good, but it seemed like an odd finish to Mick's career. I just have this feeling we haven't seen the last of him, and if that is true, then we are never going to believe it when he finally does retire. Hey, I'd like to see him continue on WWF TV, but what wrestler has ever said "Goodbye, I'm going now", and retires? I guess only time will tell.

It seems everyone is ready for Vince to be back. That's funny, a year ago everyone couldn't wait for him to leave :) Even with the Rock as successful as he is right now, I believe the WWF will eventually need Steve Austin and Vince. I've already heard a lot of people say they are tired of the McMahon-Helmsley Era and will switch to WCW or stop watching the WWF. I on the other hand, have enjoyed the McMahon-Helmsley Era. At least we've gotten to see some different matches, both different types and different opponents. Perhaps a lot of fans don't like it because it seems to me everyone wants to cheer DX, but doesn't feel that they should. Look how quickly the crowd does the "Ladies and gentlemen....". Or maybe Triple H just isn't holding everyone's attention. I happen to like Triple H's work these past few months though others don't, while I didn't like it before when others did. I'm sure Vince will return sometime soon, and Austin will at least make an appearance at Wrestlemania I'm betting.

Looks like Mae Young is stealing the spotlight from Moolah. I think the WWF should release a video dedicated to Moolah's career. Tori's angle is quite funny. Who will be Kane's next victim? It's time for Luna to win the Women's Title too!

Oh, I keep forgetting this. In the latest W.O.W. Magazine, once again someone in the wrestling business puts down Internet newsletters, websites, etc. Kevin Nash makes negative remarks about those on the net who post info just to see their name. I can't recall the specific comments, but I'll look in a little bit. Once again, why do wrestlers and people in the industry feel the need to say these things? In my opinion, the Internet is a large reason why wrestling became so popular again. I know many fans who got interested again due to the Internet. Sure, there are people who post false information, or information they do not know to be true, but eventually the truth comes out and people learn not to trust the person posting the info. There are however a ton of great websites from very dedicated fans. I'm not saying all wrestlers think this way, there's a lot who have their own websites and often write their own columns. They realize this is a very important media for the future. I try never to post information I don't have confirmed, but I ever did it certainly was not intentional. I've talked enough about this.

I was very happy to hear Chris Benoit won the WCW World Title, but it's a shame that he won't be keeping it. If anyone deserves it, he does. Seems like WCW has a lot more problems with backstage politics than the WWF. Maybe that's because everyone knows who owns and is in charge at the WWF. I read this very long post from someone yesterday about what is going on in WCW, and there is no way they could be sure that was what happened and they admitted it. I just would rather wait for the end result than speculate on that stuff. Maybe that's why people like Kevin Nash get upset, and if that is what he means, then I agree. I just don't agree with implying everyone on the net does that.
