Jianhua's Ph.D research focused on both the synthesis of new materials and the devices for fabrication of organic field-effect transistors.

Jianhua's current research for Dr. Glen Miller at the University of New Hampshire involves the synthesis of acenes and hetero-acenes for photo-electronic devices applications as well as Self-assmbly and Field-assisted nanolithography and molecular electronics.
