When you are the best, people tend to copy what you do. There is no better example of that then what the MLS is attempting to do with its teams. Many teams are changing their names, stadiums, and fans basis to copy that of the leagues of seas. Teams like Real Salt Lake and soon to be Sporting KC (formely the Kansas City Wizards) are two examples of names that reflect more European styles. Fans are pretty much split to wether its a good or bad idea but the fact is that it seems to be getting more attention. Smaller stadiums allow for fans to better impact the game and even chanting style have also been compied from overseas chants.
