Benefits of Exercise

Below is a list of the many benefits of diet and exercise. Keep in mind that the benefits exist as long as you keep up your good habits. The longer you keep it up and more consistent you are with your specific program the greater you will increase your benefits.

Resistance Training

Resistance training can be done with your own body weight, resistance bands, free weights, or machines. All have pros and cons and choosing which to use depends on your goals. I could list recommendations on how to use each, but I feel that assessing each individual clients needs would allow me to make the best judgement on training equipment. Those looking for individualized programs should Contact Me. It is recommended for the average person to do some type of resistance training at least twice a week.

Cardiovascular Training

Cardio

The benefits of cardiovascular exercise are endless. Did you know that 2/3 of all cancers are preventable? This is due to environmental factors and lifestyle choices. The modes of cardiovascular training could be running, walking, biking, swimming, skating, circuit training, etc. As with resistance training, the mode depends on the person. Everyone has different fitness levels, injuries, body mechanics, and so on. My job as a personal trainer is to evaluate each client and provide the best mode of cardiovascular exercise as safe as possible. When combined with the proper diet, benefits are increased.
