How to create a web page

Download the "pageTemplate.html" from Blackboard/ Data files to the desktop.

Open the file in Notepad++ and SAVE AS a new filename with .html extension.

Enter the element tags and text content for each page.

All tags are in lower case and enclosed in "<>"
The main page section tags are: head section and body section
The main text block tags are: heading, paragraph, blockquote, lists.

1. Save the page everytime we edit the code and content.
2. Open the page in a browser window. Refresh the page after every edit.
3. Upload the html file to the cisunix.unh.edu server in the appropriate folder on the server.
   Use Filezilla to upload the files.
4. Access the web page on the server using this URL: http://pubpages.unh.edu/~ejg58/folderpath/filename
