Danielle Pillet-Shore
Danielle Pillet-Shore is Assistant Professor of Communication
at the University of New Hampshire.
She analyzes interactional phenomena critical to creating and maintaining
human social relationships in everyday life. Specializing in the methods of conversation analysis, she examines video recorded naturally occurring interactions between people coming together to socialize and/or do work.
Her recent research investigates how both previously acquainted and unacquainted parties open their face-to-face interactions across a wide variety of settings,
as well as how primary school teachers and their students’ parents interact.
