Each presentation should be forty-minutes long and must include a carefully-constructed handout of one page front and back (duplicated for the class).  You may conduct the class session in any way you choose, but you should introduce the class to key issues of scholarship and interpretation involved with your film.  If you wish to use film clips, please see me during office hours for information about getting the films.  If you wish to assign readings other than those on the syllabus, please feel free to do so, but please consult with me beforehand.
