Dylan Arky's Assignment 4a for CS403.04

Theme: For my website, I'm going to focus on the television show Battlestar Galactica, which is my favorite show. It will be a website mainly for those who have never seen the show, and it will provide them with everything that they need to get interested in the show, including a synopsis, character bios, lists of awards and honors the show has received, links to watch the show instantly on Netflix, etc. So I guess you could call the site a beginner's informational guide to Battlestar Galacitca. My website will be different from other sites out there because it will be a spoiler-free beginner's guide to the show made by a personal fan, compiling all sorts of information that viewers would otherwise have to visit multiple sites to gather. It will also compile information from multiple aspects of the show besides just the synopsis, such as the history of the Battlestar Galactica franchise, the music, narrative themes, etc.
Goals: Throughout Battlestar Galactica's run, many people have thought that the show was just another silly science fiction show (mainly because it aired on the infamous Syfy channel and because of the campiness of the original 1970s version). The goal of this site is to show the people that visit the site that Battlestar Galacitca is one of the best shows in the history of television (which is both mine and many critics' opinion), and hopefully get them to try watching the show. The site will include a lot of information, but I won't get too far into the mythos of the show in order to keep things straightforward, simple, and spoiler-free. Because I have seen the entire show and know much of the behind-the-scenes/development information, there won't be much research for me to do to find out new information. Even though the show is finished, there is a spinoff show being developed, so I may need to update the site periodically with production information. My site will not be for profit.
Navigational Scheme: I want my site to have a exploratory navigational structure; users will most likely start at the homepage (although it won't matter if they start at a different page) and each page will be interconnected to the others by having the main navigational links in the header.
