Dave Fitzpatrick's CS403 Webpage

An Introduction

My name is Dave Fitzpatrick in this collection of three webpages I will try and explain DJ-ing while I try to complete the pages with the specifications of the Assignment.

Since the end of Middle School (around 8th grade) I have been DJ-ing, or playing music of different genres at events such as dances, parties, neighborhood get togethers. I have always been interested in the art/sport of DJ-ing because to me music makes everyone happy. 've never heard anyone who has hated all types of music. Also being a DJ invloves listening to a full range of music, from random indie groups to Billboard's Top 100.

The term Disc Jockey or DJ is defined by Dictionary.com as "An announcer who presents and comments on popular recorded music, especially on the radio; a DJ." I used Wikipedia as my source to find the history and other general information of DJ-ing that's displayed on this website.
