Welcome to Salvation...

If you're visiting this site, you're either in my computer science class, grading my work, or one of my friends so I'll get right to it. Salvation is a bunch of kids who are just trying to give themselves something to do. We've been friends forever and the group is really infinite, but this website is based around the core of riders who spend so much of their time, money, and energy trying to live the snowboard dream. Living fast and loving every minute, we've spent countless hours riding chairlifts and building kickers all over the northeast. We set out every year to make a great shred video but our major focus is to form memories and relationships that will last us a lifetime.

What Salvation Means

d-rock

Salvation can be defined as the the act of saving or preserving from harm, risk, loss, or destruction. It can also be defined as the state of being saved from such things (Dictionary.com). We, as a group, are displeased with the state of snowboarding today and the direction it's moving. Snowboarding was founded on attitudes of rebellion and nonconformity, but in recent years it's turned into more of a pop-culture "scene". It's unfortunate to see the paths paved by shred legends like Jamie Lynn and Tarquin Robbins, get covered up by the images of what's cool and what's not. For us, it's always been about snowboarding and it always will be. If we can't change the world, at least we'll be able to save snowboarding for ourselves...

This site is full of fun interviews, photos, and stories of our time together. I think that if nothing else, you'll be pretty entertained for a couple minutes.
