The Reasoning

In life, there are rare occasions when a series of coincidences occur in such an unusual and inexplicable way, that they can only be called MIRACLES.

Through working and volunteering in Lawrence, we have come to believe that this city is a treasure chest overflowing with miracles. We have also noted that miracles reach their maximum capacity when they are seen through the eyes of others.

Through The Cor Unum Meal Center, we believe we can help others identify where these miracles reside...often right inside themselves.

Through fundraising, we believe we can create programming to build confidence, develop motivation and generate the growth of possibility and hope in places where these seeds seem to have forgotten spring.

That said, we ask that all the loved ones who will be celebrating our marriage please take the months leading up to our wedding to raise at least $50.00 to help "A Perfect Start" slowly bring light into the lives of so many children. This money will be in lieu of all wedding gifts. Your presence, awareness of a cause we care about and support in our endeavor are the best gifts we could ever ask for.

With your help, we can make miracles...because any day is a chance to help someone make their own "perfect start"
