A few helpful hints (read and please follow these guidelines)
about turning in electronic assignments:
-
Important: Submit your assignment as text
only. No MIME attachements, no Word/Word Perfect/Works
documents.
-
Always include CS403 and your section number in the Subject field of your
email -- this helps me weed out SPAM and serves as a flag that your email
is important!
-
Always cc (carbon copy) yourself on an assignment you turn in.
Keep this copy until after the semester is over. This way if
something gets lost, you a have record indicating the time the
assignment was turned in and what it was.
-
Use your own UNH e-mail account to submit homework assignments. It becomes
confusing trying to figure out who submitted the homework if you
submit using your roommate's e-mail account (for example) and you forget
to sign it. (Plus it might make us wonder who actually did the
assignment...)
-
As soon as (make sure they are really the grades and not just a
template) assignment grades are posted check them to make sure you
were given credit (if you turned the assignment in). You have 10 days
from the time the assignment grades are posted to report any grading
errors.
-
Plan to have the assignment done in advance. With the equipment
problems, number of users, ... 'nuf said.
-
If there is a problem, please consult with
the instructor or teaching assistant.
