The theme of my website is going to be a biography on the one and only, Michael Jordan. I will explore the past, present, and future of the hall-of-famer including where he grew up, life in the NBA, his comeback, his career in baseball, etc. My website will be much different than anything you will find on the internet. I will provide detailed and 100% accurate information, it will not be a length read because most people do not want to sit at their computers just reading, and I will provide a lot of pictures of him as a kid all the way to himself as a grown man. I will also insert hyperlinks that will allow the viewer to navigate through certain websites that show where Michael Jordan was from, etc.
My Goals for this project are to make it long enough to keep the viewer interested. They need to come to my site and not be bored at all. My target audeience will be from ages 8-95. I want to include graphics so that it appeals to everyone, not to flashy but also cool enough where viewers want to stay and look around. I want to include enough images, roughly 10 or higher, to show how Michael Jordan has changed throughout the years. I am going to insert links, like stated above, that go to other websites that show his life and career in basketball. I will add in links to my other pages that refer different aspects of Jordan's life. I will include the form "cgiemail" also. I will include a mailto link so that anyone who views my website will be able to contact me directly. I will insert a date/time stamp so that people can see what day or time it is at anytime they are viewing my webpage. I will also include a Client Pull so that people can see what features my webpage as, etc. Lastly, I will include a default location as well.
My navigational scheme is going to be relatively simple. I am going to use an hierarchical navigational scheme. I chose this because I want my website to be simple enough so that viewers of all ages will be able to get around without any problems. The most important thing is to create a webpage that is easy to use so nobody gets frustrated or angry.
