Project Outline

Theme

The theme of my web presentation project will be a personal interest page documenting the journey that my high school Varsity Volleyball team took to win the State Championship in 2007. This web presentation will be an informative page about a high school sports team. The page will be on Massachusett's, Westborough High School's Varsity Volleyball team in 2007. It will detail the teams season, schedule and results throughout the 2007 season. It will also detail the coaches, and upcoming schedule for the current team. The website will also include various pictures of the journey.

Goals

The goal of my website is to inform past, present and future WHS Volleyball Players of the legacy of the 2007 team, as well as fans of the team. I will provide at least 5 pictures of the Road to the Championship. Off of the main page, I will have 5-6 pages. The pages will include information on the team of 2007, the current team, the schedule from that year, pictures of the wins, and coaches.

Audience: The audience of my website will be fans of our 2007 Volleyball Team, and past, present and future WHS Volleyball Players.
Date: The website will be completed by May 5, 2009.
Graphics: I will use team pictures from throughout the season that will come from a website presented by Tom Heim, a player's parent, taken on a digital camera.
Length: The website will contain one main page, and about 5-6 pages that branch off from that.
Maintenance: Once completed, there should be little to no maintenance. Only updates on where the players are now will be updated.
Money: This is a non-profit website.
Objective: The purpose of this website is to provide memories and a document of the first women's team to win the State Championship at WHS.
Research: The writing of this website will be farely simple because I participated in the State win and the road to the Championship. I can draw off my own experiences, and relationships with the team members.

Navigational Scheme

The navigational scheme that will be used for this website is the hierarchical scheme. This scheme will be the best because it will allow me to have a homepage to introduce the website and then 5-6 other pages that will involve information listed above in GOALS.
