Durham House of Pets was founded in the year 2005 by Pheobe Buffay. Ever since she was a little girl, Pheobe had a love for animals. She wanted to start a career in a field that she could enjoy, so what would be better than a pet shop!? After she received her degree to become a vet, she gathered her friends and business was soon up and running. Her first shop, in Durham, NH, started off slow though -just selling accessories, and small animals. Now, 7 years later, Pheobe has set up a grooming service, and has expanded her product line. It had become such a success that it is now being franchised all over New England. Pheobe’s passion and care for animals really makes her pet shop unique. She encourages the animals to come into her store with their owners. The customer service is phenomenal as she took the time to hire all the employees, making sure they shared her love for animals. It is important, in this shop to treat the customers and animals with respect and loyalty. Each employee has an extensive knowledge of animals and their food or products that make the experience at Durham House of Pets an easy one. It is a very fun place for both the customers, and the employees. |
