Penny is a teacup Chihuahua she is much smaller than Pokey. Penny technically belongs to my mother! You can tell. Just as my Chihuahua Pokey cuddles with me and follows me around she follows and cuddles my mother. Penny was given to us by a friend who has four Chihuahuas and was the most adorable pup in the litter. Penny looked just like Pokey with a big head and funny little ears. She wiggled around and was just too cute to pass up. We never intended on having two dogs, we thought one and two cats were probably enough but we couldnt help ourselves. She has been a great addition to the family Pokey and Penny are the best of friends, they are inseparable. They fight and play all day long and they snuggle and cuddle together all night. Penny loves food more than anything else in the world! Anytime you mention a food word that she recognizes she jumps up and heads for the kitchen sitting in anticipation of food! She is a bright energetic pup who loves to be on the go.

Favorite Activities: Playing with Pokey, going for walks, barking at dogs much bigger than she is, chasing the cat, eating food!, going for rides in the car, barking at visitors, cuddling under the blankets, sitting on laps, sleeping.

Favorite Toys: dingo bones, socks, anything that can be chewed.

Favorite Foods: Chicken, beef, dog biscuits, some fruits, anything sweet, cat food, occasionally paper.

Most embarrassing moment: Penny will do anything to eat something! One day she was curious about a bag of chips that was left in the living room. When I came downstairs to find her I noticed the chip bag was missing and she wasnt coming to me calling her name. I turned into the kitchen to find her standing there with the bag of chips stuck on her head! She was wiggling around trying to get it off but it was stuck.

The one thing she hates the most: Pennys biggest fear is riding in cars. You wouldnt be able to tell this because when you even begin to say the word go or ride or car her ears prick up and she is at the door. She runs right out the door and straight to the car. Once she is in the car she is still excited and ready to go. As soon as the car starts she loses all excitement and it becomes fear automatically. She starts to shake and pant and she sits in your lap and wont budge. We think she probably remembers going to the Veterinarians office a few too many times and has a fear of returning. She always makes it through the ride well and is always happy when we return home but without fail every time we mention a ride she is once again excited until the car starts!
