  1. Hate Speech is a way to verbally deject someone backed on their sexual orientation, gender, race, color, ect.
  2. I am slightly conflicted on this. I do no feel it is right to take away freedom of speech. People should be able to say how they feel but unfortunately there will always be those people who abuse it and will say hurtful things to other just because they can. So then I also feel like there should be monitored websites so if some hate speech is really taking it too far then it will be taken down. This could lead some people to suicide.
  3. I think their should be a universal definition of hate speech. Unfortunately I do not think this is possible or that it is possible to come up with a universal solution to this. I think it would not be possible to pass such a thing for a law.
  4. Like above I am conflicted. I do not think is it right since it would take away people's freedom of speech, but I wish it could be done. Maybe if the website sees some really bad hate speech they can take it down if it were to really hurt someone purposely. This is not possible but it would be nice if it could be done.
  5. No, they should not be held responsible. It is freedom of speech and they are not doing anything legally wrong. They are not responsible for what other crimes people did. They did not commit these acts. Others did.
  6. Yes, I do not feel that children should be exposed to hate-oriented websites. They are just kids and should not be exposed to that type of language. They could pick up on what they read and/or try to mimic these actions. Some kids may not understand how bad these things really are and will start to perform them their self. I think their should be an 18 and up limit to who can view the website.
  7. I think the laws should be the same both on and offline. I do not feel there should be different rules for each. If there were different rules, people would do harm where they could. It would be like two separate worlds. I do not see this as right.
  8. The two could not be held for punishment. They are both legally okay, maybe not so acceptable though. It is up to the people posting these things to know what they are doing is wrong.
