
Kaburst was originally founded in Manchester, Connecticut which was home to the first Kaburst platform. Events and promotions were held in various locations in Connecticut to extend the brand name. This was launched in March, 2011. There are currently 4 Kaburst branches along hte Eastern border of the United States. The main target market for Kaburst is college towns due to the vast community of small business owners and entreprenuers. College students receive the deals and discounts businesses have to offer through text and e-mail.

Kaburst started it's second branch in Durham, NH in August 2011. Durham's community and small town atmosphere provided for a great market for the Kaburst platform. There are currently 8 businesses signed onto the Kaburst system in Durham. In addition to the location in Durham Kaburst is expanding to expanding universities like Southern New Hampshire Univeristy and Plymouth state University.

Kaburst recently opened a branch at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. This was a challenging market as it is a big metropolitan area. With Washington D.C's success Kaburst plans to migrate to areas with big cities such as Boston.

Kaburst's most recent branch was started at the University of Charlotte in North Carolina. This branch opened in early October and has made significant progress since. From here Kaburst is looking to open a branch in Florida. Kaburst's long term goals are to move west and eventually spread nationwide
