Dog Grooming

Just like you, you're dog needs its own form of beauty care. All dogs need to be given a a bath somewhat regularly, some more than others. Dogs with fur need less attention than dogs with hair, as it pretty much takes care of itself. Dogs with hair need to be trimmed and bathed much more frequently, as humans do. The downside to fur is that in the summer months these dogs shed huge amounts of their fur!

Nails can also be a huge issue for dogs. Dog's nails grow pretty fast and can get very long and uncomfortable in a short period of time. They can also be dangerous for other pets and family members, as they can cause harm when a dog is simply trying to be playful. A dog's nails can be cut by its owner, but it is highly recommended that a dog be taken to a vet or a professional groomer for their nails. Dogs have veins that run through their nails, and if they are cut too short it can rupture one of the nails and cause some serious damage for your pet.
