Throughout my experience
in the compitition world I have only met the most amazing and outgoing people.
The friends I have gained along the way are of different ages, genders, and ethnicities
and I know I could go to when in need of that extra push of support.
It's especially amazing to have such great friends when you are competing against them.
The bodybuilding and figure world is truly one big community.
Working out has always come naturally to me. If I don't get to the gym at least five times a week I feel like something is missing; I don't feel right. I love spending my time in such a healthy and natural environment. It's a time for me to relieve stress, but also rejuvenate myself.
Through all the months of training, changing my diet and limiting the amount of food and regimenting the times to eat the food was the hardest part. Along with altering the input of food, changing the amount of H2O is detrimental.
The further away from the show at the beginning of my training my food schedule isn't as strict. As I get closer and closer to the date of the show, it is more important to eat a very specific amount at a specific time throughout the day in order to know what nutrients are going into my body and what effects they have.
I would say the most important part of a natural figure competitor's diet is protein. Protein is an organic compound made up of essential amino acids that builds up muscle and helps break down fat cells.
