Provincetown is a place where people get together have fun! Provincetown, sometimes referred to as "P-town" is known for its beaches, Commercial Street, fishing, artists, and the reputation of a gay pride town. With its population rising tenfold in the summer, it's the place to be!

Going to the Pilgrim Monument is impeccable in the summer! You can see for miles and miles from the top. Its beautiful all granite structure is gorgeous against the sunset on any day.
My personal experiences at the Pilgrim Monument have been nothing but satisfying. I remember as a little kid growing up on Cape Cod, seeing pictures of the Pilgrim Monument in magazines and wishing I could go someday. When I finally got the chance to climb the magnificent monument, I looked out onto the ocean and thought I was on top of the world. It really puts into perspective the geography of Cape Cod. You can actually see the curl at the end of the Cape like you would on maps. I highly reccommend this excursion for anyway who visits "P-town"!

Provincetown has some awesome whale watching trips. I have been on multiple trips and there was one that imparticularly I remembered. I was sitting on the boat as a child and was trying to make the best of a trip with my entire family that I really did not want to go on. I looked out the railings of the boat and saw a puff of air that came from the water. It intrigued me and I kept watching intently. All of a sudden a HUGE whale breached out of the water with giant force. Then the intercom came on and the captain said this was one of the best whale watch trips he had serviced in a long time. There were whales jumping out of the water left and right! I saw baby whales and seals along with the breaching mothers. It was amazing and I would go again in a heartbeat.

Race Point and Herring Cove are two of the best beaches in america according to me! They are both beautiful in their own way. They attract fisherman from all over and it is well worth it. You will catch fish. Herring Cove has smaller waves than Race Point but still is great for dune hiking, sunsets picnics, and beautiful sand. Also the great thing is, is that it is less crowded than most other beaches on Cape Cod. Race Point is a little more crowded but is at the very end of the Cape, which makes it intriguing. It is a local favorite, so if you want to run into local folks, go to Race Point.
