Assignment 6:Hate and the Internet

1. It is a speech full of aggressivity, seditious sentences and fraudulence.
2. I agree with the limits on free expression in order to deal with the problems posed by hate speech. I think we can limit some special and sensitive word that when people post these hate speech, sensitive words can not be used.I think these limits are benefit to young children that aviod bad information close to them.
3. I think that we should reach a common international consensus about hate speech. This is because people come from different countries might have different sense to some serious questions. So we need a balence to deal with these hate speech.
4. I think the censorship and the filtering of hate group websites is appropriate in some cases. It is very important to set up a censorship for monitoring hate speech. By the way, the government can set up a report system.
5. I think they should take responsbility. Those hate speech material have become a reason that hate speech encourage people to crime. They should take some indirect responsbilities.
6. I would like to advocate special restrictions on making hate-related material available to children surf the Internet. Children always very easy to be influence by hate material and children are always curious. It is very harm to children that make them to crime. That's reason why people need a monitor to make sure 18 ages.
7. Yes, because I think that if the hate speech is almost online, it will impact to the public media. But if it is offline, I think hate speech does not have a wide range.
8. Yes, these two standards should be distinguished. The hate materials will be more harmful for people, while the pronography should be avioded from children.
