Ben Rees founded Big Daddy's in the spring 2002 with nothing but a $10,000 investment from his father. Big Daddy's started as just food truck in downtown Philidephia on the corner of 2nd and Bailey and became notorius for quick food, efficient service, and it's charasmatic atmosphere. After raising enough money to buy his own place, Ben moved Big Daddy's into it's current location it is today. After being featured on Guy Fierey's TV show "Dinners Dine-Ins & Drives" Guy quoted "The Big Daddy BBQ Ribs were fantastic, the moist ribs and bit of lemon was to die for--a must eat!"
