There are a few different kinds of fundraisers, regular, pacesetters, and a team of pacesetters.
A regular fundraiser is a person that has raised under $2,000.
A Pacesetter is someone that has raised at least $2,000
Pacesetter teams are a group of people that register as a team and commit to raising at least $15,000
Making Strides Kickoff Event:
The making strides kickoff event is an event for all Pacesetters
that is held in the summer. Each year both a breast cancer researcher
and a breast cancer survivor give speeches.
Access to Society-Funded Researchers
Pacesetters get invited to different events in which they get to hear
directly from researchers on gains they have made throughout the year.
Recognition
Each and every Pacesetter is recognized and thanked at the Breast Cancer Walk.
Fun Events
Throughout the year there are a few events in which all Pacesetters are invited to,
where they are able to meet and just have a good time!
