Skiing In New Hampshire
For residents of the state of New Hampshire, there's no avoiding the snow that comes every winter. If we can't avoid it, we may as well put it to good use. With plenty of mountains in the northern part of the state, ski slopes have been developed and used for many years. Hotels have popped up all around them to give travels a chance to make a weekend of it.
On a cold snowy weekend, what better getaway than a nice ski trip up north with the family. Many mountains offer lessons for children in designated areas, or have wide enough trails for parents to take up some space teaching their children on their own. Just remember to pack plenty of warm gear for the little ones. If they need to warm up a bit, all of the mountains in New Hampshire have lodges at the base that look out onto the base. Skiing is not only a fun family adventure, it also offers beautiful scenery and great photo ops!
