Alexa's Dance Supply Co. was founded in 2001 by Alexa Cahill Conant, former prima ballerina of the New York City Ballet. After performing in roles such as Clara in the Nutcracker and the White Swan in Swan Lake, Conant retired from NYC Ballet and made the move to create her own dance supply company. Starting off, our store offered dance clothing, leotards, shoes and other dancing necessities. In the past five years however, our company has expanded by offering a wide supply of pointe shoes and costume shoe fittings with professionals. Our supplier base has grown as well, carrying brands like Bloche, American Ballet Theatre, Grisko, Capezio and many more! As a company our inventories, services and customer satisfaction are continuing to grow.
