Amanda examines a root in-growth core in a corn field at the University of Pennsylvania agricultural experiment station

Welcome to Amanda Daly's Homepage

I am a Ph.D. student and NSF GRFP fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Stuart Grandy at the University of New Hampshire, enthusiastically working to forward scientific understanding of soil microbe-driven biogeochemical processes and enhance the sustainability of agroecosystems.

I am working to produce a science radio show, Testing... 1, 2, 3, to be aired on WUNH-FM. The show will be a dynamic hour highlighting science, math, engineering, and technology research at the University of New Hampshire and beyond, where listeners from all backgrounds can explore the process of scientific inquiry through a mix of interviews, narration, and field recordings.

Also, take a look at "Amanda's Lab Notebook," where I blog about my studies and research, or the MicroPopBio blog I wrote as part of my Microbial Ecology and Evolution class in 2012.
