Rory MacCrimmon
email: rcmc@cisunix.unh.edu
Rory is pursuing a Masters degree in physics at UNH. We was involved in the synthesis of
metallofullerenes during the summer of 1998, and is now in charge of the pulsed laser
deposoition system. He is interested in condensed matter physics as it applies to
alternative energy ideas. |

Marcy Beildeck
email: mbeildeck@mailexcite.com
Marcy is a senior at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. She has pursued her science career
beyond the typical courses offered at her high school. In addition to having completed AP
Chemistry, she is now enrolled in AP Biology and Independent Research. She has joined our
group to increase the range of her scientific research and broaden her experience in the
physics field. |

Neil Bostrom
Neil graduated from UNH in 1998. He worked on the scanning tunneling microscope, and did
programming with LabView to put the cluster machine under computer control. Neil was a
member of the sailing team, Fall 1994 - 96, and of the student senate 1995 - 96. Neil is
currently working for Schlumberger-Doll Research in Connecticut as a "Research
Technician." |
 |
Mark Osgood
email: mark.osgood@daltonics.bruker.com
Mark graduated from UNH in 1997. He spent a major part of his last year in the research
lab. He designed and built a scanning tunneling microscope (financially supported through
the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program), and was instrumental in various
technical developments in the cluster lab. His interests are instrument research, design,
and development. He is now a "Research and Development Physicist" at Bruker
Analytical Systems in Danvers, near Boston, in the time-of-flight mass spectrometer
research group. |
 |
Jon Bannon
Jon was involved in our research on metallofullerenes during his freshman year at UNH, in
1995/96. He enjoyed financial support through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities
Program. |
| |
Wenhui Li
email: wenhuil@hopper.unh.edu
Wenhui is a graduate student. During 1997/98 he was involved in setting up and running the
first experiments on metal ion implantation into fullerene films. |
 |
Geoff Littlefield
Geoff graduated from UNH with a Masters in Physics in 1995/96. He did research on
photodissociation and delayed ionization of fullerenes. He is now co-owner of a software
company. |

Keith Kennedy
email: kkennedy@colorvision-lasers.com
Keith graduated from UNH in 1995 with a Masters in Physics. He did research on
photodissociation and delayed ionization of fullerenes. He is currently working as a Laser
System Engineer at COLOR, a small startup company near Portsmouth, NH. His responsibility
includes design and construction of lasers and optical systems utilized in large area (9 x
12 feet) video projectors. |
