The ABC series Grey's Anatomy has put everyone in both tears and histerics. It is a relationship-based drama set in a hospital. As a result, we're going to have to change our calendars a bit. Episode number 9, "Crash Into Me", was originally set to air in two consecutive parts, one week after the other. Part one will still be airing on November 22nd, but there will be no part two on November 29th. Instead, there will be a rerun of the season four premiere.

Episode 1/Season 1- A Hard Day's Night
Meredith Grey the daughter of a famous surgeon Ellis Grey starts her first day as an intern at Seattle Grace Hospital recovering from a one night stand. As she shoos away her evenings companion and tells him she cant be late for her first day of work, she is surprised to realize when she gets to work that he is not only a co-worker but her boss-Doctor Derek Shepherd. Christina Yang is a highly competitive Stanford graduate who befriends Meredith the first day of work.George O'Mally is a quirky warm hearted man who learns a lesson or two on his first day. Izzie Stevens is a former model who doesn't get any special treatment on her first day.And Alex Karev who is an arrogant jerk who misdiagnoses a patient on his first day. Overseeing them is Miranda Bailey who is refered to as The Nazi.
Episode 2/Season 1- The First Cut Is The Deepest
Meredith has a silly way of showing Derek that she has no interest in dating him, when she pounces on him for a kiss when they're alone in the elevator.She also has the task of carrying around evidence in the case of a rape victim. Meanwhile Alex is added to Dr.Baileys team and Christina is delivering the news to patients of their lab results. Izzie fortunately has a chance to practice real medicine as she sews up minor cuts and injuries and treats a bloody girl in the parking lot. Dr.Burke who later becomes intimate with Christina, is shocked by Dr.Shepherds arrival- for now he has to compete for Cheif Resident.
Episode 3/Season 1- Winning a Battle, Losing the War
A bike race sponsored by the Dead Baby Bar, has the ER swarming with injured riders and pedestrians. One of the riders Viper- wishes to be discharged from the hospital so he can continue his competition.But before he leaves he kisses Meredith out of nowhere- Derek sees this and denies being jealous. Izzie and Christina are in charge of an unidentified victim with no brain activity. The set out on a missions to find his family in hopes to see if orgain donation is a possibility. George is in charge of taking care of a close friend of Dr.Webber who has a deathly liver disease. The family of Izzie and Christina's patient finally agree to donate the dying mans liver to Dr.Webbers close friend.
Episode 4/Season 1- No Man's Land
George is not enjoying his "sister" role after moving in with Meredith and Izzie. He is walked in on in the shower, asked to buy feminine products, and treated nothing like a member of the opposite sex. Christina fights to win a good surgery- over the other interns. Alex starts refering to Izzie as Dr.Model because she posed in magazines to pay her way through college. Meredith and Derek square off professionally when they have different opinions on a surgery. Despite all this they still meet for breakfast the next morning. Another romance is brewing between Dr.Burke and one of the interns.
Episode 5/Season 1- Shake Your Groove Thing
Exhaustion takes a toll on Meredith. During an open heart surgery with Dr. Burke her hand slips and she thinks that she might have punctured the patients heart. George finds a mistake that Dr. Burke made in a surgery on a patient five years earlier. Izzie's boyfriend is in town and there is a party thrown at Merediths house. Meredith comes home after a long day and joins in on the fun. Derek shows up to see Meredith and they are caught hooking up in the car by Bailey. The episode ends with Izzie and her boyfriend breaking up for good.
